The Hive Youth Zone, Birkenhead

HL are appointed as the civil and structural engineers to deliver the design for this new purpose built youth club for the young people of Birkenhead, Wirral.

 

The new building is based on the model developed by Charity Onside Youth Zones, and includes a sport hall, boxing gym, MUGA pitch, dance studio, and gymnasium amongst other facilities.

 

The building maximises the potential from a confined site, with the external MUGA Pitch positioned at first floor level.

 

The design of the building has been developed using a fully co-ordinated BIM Revit model, produced by both HL and the project architect.
